Community College Association for Instruction and Technology

CCAIT encourages the development and dissemi-nation of information relevant to technology and telecommunications as they relate to instruction in the community college environment. through its advocacy activities, CCAIT serves its membership by exchanging appropriate data, reports and in-formation relevant to technology, telecommunica-tions, and related teaching--learning activities in the community college. Among its annual activi-ties are a juried video competition, the CCAIT Educator of the Year Award, and participation at the AECT National Convention, providing ses-sions, exhibits and membership events.

Further, its long range goals are to seek improved teaching and learning through tee effective use of technology and telecommunications; and, to provide leadership in developing standards, net-working opportunities among members' institu-tions, and professional development activities on a stte and regional basis.
