Started in 1949 as the Illinois Audio Visual Association, IAECT is continuing to provide members with information on advances in the media and technology field. It's not easy keeping up with media and technology changes. It wasn't easy in 1949 when the association was formed, and it is not easy in the year 2000 as we celebrate 50 years of information sharing.
