Annual Achievement Award

AECT's Annual Achievement Award is presented to an individual or group who has made a significant contribution to the advancement of educational communications and technology in the past twelve months. The contribution is defined as a recent public event or newly established program. The nomination's supporting documentation should include:

• The specific achievement being honored.
• The achievement's impact or anticipated impact in the field of educational technology.
• The role the nominee plays in this achievement.

Comments from an additional three contributors must be submitted in order for the nomination to be considered.

The awardee receives a plaque presented during the awards ceremony at the 2008 annual convention to be held November 4-8, 2008 at BUENA VISTA PALACE HOTEL, Orlando, Florida.

Qualifications:

• Nominee may be an individual or a group.
• Achievement must be timely taking place since October 2007.
• The nominee need not be a member of AECT.
• Award may be given to the same individual or group more than once.
