2010 ect Mentor Endowment Scholarship
The ect FOUNDATION, INC MENTOR ENDOWMENT FUND has been established through contributions made by educational communications and technology professional in honor and recognition of individuals who serving as mentors, have provided guidance, assistance and direction to the personal, educational and professional development of the donor. The goal of the fund is to facilitate educational, professional and leadership development in the field of educational communications and technology.

| Award: |
One scholarship of $3000. |
| Purpose: |
This scholarship is intended for use by a graduate student in educational communications and technology to pursue studies in this field. The scholarship may be used to assist the recipient in enrolling in graduate study during an academic year or a summer session in any accredited college or university in the United States or Canada. Graduate study must doctoral level. |
| Eligibility: |
Applicants must be members of AECT, and accepted in or enrolled in a doctoral level program as outlined above. |
| Criteria: |
1. Scholarship
2. Leadership potential
3. Experience in the field of educational communications and technology, such as employment, field experience, course work, assistantships, presentations, and publications.
4. Three letters of recommendation from persons familiar with
the candidate’s professional |

ECT FOUNDATION
The ECT Foundation is the
non-profit organization that carries out the purposes and programs of
the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT)
that are charitable and educational in nature. The awards given through
the ECT Foundation promote scholarship and leadership in the field of
educational communications and technology. Because it is a non-profit
organization, all donations to the ECT Foundation are tax-deductible.
