Special Service Award

AECT's Special Service Award is presented to an individual who has shown notable service to AECT. This service may be to:

• the organization as a whole
• one of its programs, or
• one of its divisions

Nominations must include documented evidence of the notable service.

Comments from an additional three contributors must be submitted in order for the nomination to be considered.

The awardee receives a plaque presented during the awards ceremony at the 2012 annual convention to be held October 30-November 3, 2012 at Galt House Hotel and Suites, Louisville, Kentucky.

Qualifications:

Nominee must be currently a member of AECT and have at least ten years of service to AECT.

Disqualification:

• Recipient may not be currently a member of the Board of Directors.
• Nominee may not be currently serving as a member of the AECT Awards Committee.
• Nominations for service to an affiliate organization.
