The Galt House Hotel and Suites is one of the largest hotels in the Southeast. Louisville’s Waterfront Hotel and Convention Complex is the most splendid and accommodating hotel in the city. Rates listed above exclude state and local taxes, currently totaling 15.01%. There is a maximum of four persons per room. Check in time is 3:00pm and check out time is 11am. There is currently a .75 charge for local calls from the sleeping rooms.
The Galt House Hotel and Suites consists of 1300 newly renovated guest rooms. 600 of these rooms are suites in the East "All Tower Suite" Tower. Each suite boasts 720 square feet of living space with a living room and television area; Oversized desk and work area with duel line phones and voice mail; Separate bedroom area with two queen beds; Three full closets and separate television; Wet bar and counter area with small refrigerator; bathroom has dual vanities; and best of all, complimentary wi-fi access.
The 700 traditional rooms in the "West Tower," are very spacious as well as encompassing approximately 400 square fee and offer an abundance of closet and drawer space. In addition to cable television, voice mail and dual phone lines, the furnishings include your choice of a king or two queen bed, and complimentary Internet.
Parking and Transportation:
Parking is available onsite in the hotel's attached, covered garage for all registered guests of the hotel. The current charge is $9 per night for self-parking and $16 per night for valet parking.
The Galt House Hotel and Suites offers transportation service through an in-house company called "Sandollar" located on the ground level of the East Tower of the hotel. They offer transportation to and from the Louisville International Airport and the surrounding area. Pricing information and arrangements can be made by calling Sandollar direct at (502) 561-4022. The hotel is approximately seven miles from the Louisville International Airport.
Toonerville Trolly
The Toonerville Trolley covers nine blocks of Downtown Louisville and gives easy access to other famous attractions with the convenience of boarding the trolley in front of the Galt House Hotel. The current hours of operation are 7:30am until 11:00pm.
Fourth Street Live
Louisville's newest downtown attraction, Fourth Street Live, is now open. Fourth Street Live is an entertainment complex located three blocks from the Galt House Hotel and connected by a skywalk. Businesses include: Hard Rock Cafe, Borders Books and Music, Lucky Strike Bowling, TGI Friday's, and the Red Star Tavern, just to name a few! There is also a food court in The Fourth Street Live!

RiVue, features beautiful views of Louisville and the Ohio River, along with two rotating dining areas. This is the hotel's fine dining restaurant and offers fabulous cuisine.
