Committees
Committees Membership The Standing Committees are designated by the President at the beginning of the term and may vary from President to President. It is the President's prerogative and obligation, to appoint or reappoint committees and recommend members. Those committees most frequently included are listed below. The ideal committee number is five including the Chair, but the work of the committee may require more. There must be at least three members including the Chair. Committees with many tasks can have subcommittees and/or co-chairs. After the annual board meeting, each committee will create a report and distribute it electronically before the AECT conference. Each committee chair will keep a log of activities and information for his/her successor. See the By-Laws for a description of duties.
