We are looking forward to our first Virtual Convention, Towards Culturally-Situated Learning Design and Research. We will virtually bring together participants from around the world, offering practical applications, cutting-edge research, workshops, and demonstrations of new technologies in teaching and learning. - **Volunteer Registration: The volunteer application needs to be complete prior to registration. Once the application has been entered you will receive the appropriate registration code.
AECT is offering group registration to promote individual participation and instructional involvement with this year's virtual convention. The group registration is a minimum 5-person institutional package, with any combination of registration types as listed above at a 20% discount. In addition, it also requires a minimum of 25-hours of volunteering service (estimated at five hours per registrant) to the 2020 virtual convention. REGISTRATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Registrations may be canceled on or before a date 10 days prior to the start of the convention, and the amount paid minus a $30 administrative fee will be refunded. No refund is available for cancellations within 10 days of the start of the convention, but the amount paid minus a $30 administrative fee will be credited toward the registration fee for the convention in the following year. Cancellations and refund requests resulting from family emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis. All cancellations and refund requests must be sent in writing by mail, fax, or email to the AECT office. AECT cannot be responsible for cancellations necessitated by weather conditions, transportation issues, or other problems beyond the associations control.
