Japan Society for Educational Technology (JSET)
Since its birth in November, 1984, JSET has been a major academic society in the research and practice of technology in education, including theories of instruction and learning. Korean Society for Educational Technology (KSET)

Since 1985, the Korean Society for Educational Technology (KSET) has played a vital role in developing theoretical and practical excellence in the field of instructional technology. As an affiliate of the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT), KSET has more than 1,000 members who are researchers, developers, and practitioners in academia, corporations, and government organizations. Association for Educational Communication and Technology Hawaii Chapter (AECT-HI)
AECT-HI is an organization of Learning Design & Technology (formerly Educational Technology) faculty, alumni, and graduate students at the University of Hawaiʻi. The organization, as stated in the AECT-HI Bylaws, was established to provide graduate students in the Learning Design & Technology Department at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa with professional, social, and cultural support, a forum for discussion about student issues, and official representation to the UH Graduate Student Organization. It also serves to provide alumni the opportunity to stay in touch with the department.
